In the frame of the grand exhibition “Alexandrie : futures antérieurs” at the MUCEM in Marseille between February and May 2023, I was honored to be the curator of the installation ” Alexandrie – Marseille, regards croisés” in April 2023.
The exhibition highlights architecture-urban innovative ideas proposed by both Egyptian and French students to conclude their observations on the two cities.
“Alexandrie-Marseille, regards croisés” is an exchange and cooperation project involving the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Marseille, the University of Alexandria (Department of Architecture-Engineering and Department of French Language and Literature – Faculty of Letters).
The first version took place at the French Institute in Alexandria between the 2nd and 20th of October 2022, where I had the pleasure of curating it.
In addition to the two exhibitions, the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Marseille has published a book that documents the successful experience and all the innovative projects of the students.
