AUTUMN, 2019

These drawings are my quick observations from several cities. Last October my wife and I spent a complete month in Italy as our delayed honeymoon. This long, beautiful, inspiring and romantic trip was totally arranged by Marianne my beautiful wife. During the whole period our main mean of transportation was the train. We have started from Nice-France, crossing the north of Italy and ending in Rome. As an architect and artist you feel overwhelmed by the beauty of the country. You feel the urge to describe document everything your eyes come across. But at the end I decided to enjoy the art you see everywhere, the architecture, the tranquility of nature and above all the company of a loving wife. These are drawings that represent my selective observations, thoughts, feelings and records according to my mood during the trip. They could be accurate or not but they are my voice.
